No other place on Block Island brings you the #ultimatesummerparty the way Ballard’s does. And we can’t deliver live music all summer long without our returning host guitarist John Brazile. For those coming back to Ballard’s, you know him well. But if you’re hopping on the ferry for the first time, get ready to enjoy live music daily from a musician who makes Block Island his summer destination every summer.

John is a 31 year old Worcester native who began playing at Ballard’s in the summer of 2012. Although he’s an annual resident of Nashville where he works as a songwriter, he’s braved the waves to land on the shore of Block Island and Ballard’s Beach every summer for the past five years. On his summer residency here, John says, “There’s no place like Ballard’s. I love that I get to play at the coolest beach club in New England every night.”

It’s truly a treat to have John on Block Island again for the 2016 summer season. A lover of all musical styles, John spins pop records as a DJ on Ballard’s beach stage occasionally. If you catch him during the day on the outdoor beach stage, get ready to have a blast enjoying some cocktails and the #ultimatesummerparty…it’s hot fun in the sun while John delivers a summer dance party on Ballard’s Beach.

Only Ballard’s has it all, and that includes the wide range of John’s music repertoire.  On any given night during the summer, he can be found playing acoustic guitar on the indoor stage, taking

requests ranging from ACDC to Sinatra, and everything in between. Starting June 17th, you can catch John seven nights a week on Ballard’s indoor stage all summer from 7-11pm.

When the summer is over, John returns to Nashville . He has just released his first single entitled, “Can Always Tell”.  Don’t miss the fun! Grab some friends, hop on the ferry, and join John and the party all summer long at Ballard’s…it’s the only place to be for live music and dancing on Block Island.
